Biography

Silas "Fish" Armstrong was born in 1829 at Newport, Hants, Nova Scotia. He was the son of George C. Armstrong and Matilda Elizabeth Mosher. Silas was a Master Rigger of sailing ships. He married Sarah Greeno on October 9, 1858 at Kempt, Hants, Nova Scotia. He passed away on July 24, 1909 at Newport Landing, West Hants, Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada.
