Biography

A marriage bond was recorded for John and Eunice Cox by John Armstrong and Abraham Cox on June 14, 1864[1]. The bond was directed to the minister of the Baptist church in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

At the time of the 1871 Canada Census, John, Eunice, Stanley, Oscar, and Gertrude Armstrong were listed as living in Lower Horton, Nova Scotia[2]. At the time of the census, John's occupation was listed as "Shoemaker".

John died in Lower Horton on May 31, 1875[3].

Armstrong-5978 and Armstrong-4423 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same wife, same kids. (Three of the kids appear on the 1871 census, tying the two Johns and Eunices together.)
