Biography
In her Last Will and Testament, Amanda Kate Armstrong (mother) left her children Albert Harold, Claude Thomas (both farmers) and Selina Emily (spinster) as executors. Selina was to get the piano and the rest was split equally between the 3 of them however daughter Madeline Letitia Cranston was to get either 50 Pounds immediately or 100 within 6 months and the family were to mortgage the farm if necessary to pay this out. She specifically said she wanted the farming activities to be continued on her farm. She signed this on 30th November 1920. Probate was filed 30 June 1921.
Listed in 1911 Electoral Rolls as Farmer of Mangaeo, Taumanunui, New Zealand In 1925 he was a farmer of Rimunui RD, Te Kuiti in the Waitomo Electorate. In 1935 he was living in Seddon Street Te Kuiti, farmer
