Biography
William Armstrong born about 1638, son of Edmund Armstrong. Noted as of Stonestown, Kings Co.
William married into the ancient Irish family of Coghlan. It would appear that through his marriage he acquired the Gallen estate in Offaly, which had been vested in the Coghlans since the dissolution of the monasteries. [1]
William died about 1717/18
