Eliabeth was the first child born after her parents emigation from Scotland. She married Thomas W. Morris on Friday June 23? 1882 and her first son Wilfred was born in 1883. Leroy was born in 1886. Jean born in 1890. Thomas died suddenly in 1890. She lived with her brother George Clark Armstrong after the death of her husband Thomas. It is possible that they also lived with grandparents Adam and Isabella at that time. Nick name Lizzie in 1880 census. Elizabeth was my mother Elizabeth Yost’s grandmother and she visited her grandmother and Uncle Clark every summer in Connellsville in the early 1920's. Her obituary was in the Daily Courier 2/24/1923 page 2. Her daughter Jean and son Wilfred were at the service. They also list a Mrs John Adams of Uniontown as a relative. I do not know this name. I wonder if it means Mrs John Adam Armstrong her sister in law.
