Anne Marie was born in 1881. Anne Marie Armstrong ...

in the 1901 census, the Armstrong family were living at Ballinskelligs. ^[1] They lived in a 10 roomed house which was owned by The Direct United States Cable Company Ltd. present were, John Garnet Armstrong, aged 47, a Telegraphist at the nearby Cable Station, born in England Margaret, his wife, aged 40, born in Co. Kerry. their children, all born in Co. Kerry. Ann, daughter, aged 20 [Anna Maria Jane A.,] Margaret, daughter, aged 18 [b. 1883] John, son, aged 13 [John Garnet A., b. 1887] Mary, daughter, aged 11 Frances, daughter, aged 9 [b. 21.9.1891] Clare, daughter, aged 6 Thomas, son, aged 4 Isobel, daughter, aged 3 Muriel, daughter, aged 1

note. Ann Armstrong married Karl Garten on 20th July 1909, at Halifax, Nova Scotia.

She passed away in 1960.
