Biography

Harold James Arney was born on 21 September 1915 in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia, son of Elizabeth Catherine (Summers) Arney and Arthur Ernest Arney.[citation needed]

He married Kathleen Shirley McCoach on 21 August 1943 in Preston, Victoria.[1]

Harold died on 21 March 1945, aged 29 years, killed in action in WW2 (RAAF) whilst piloting a Lancaster bomber on target for Bohlen, Germany (presumed mid-air, under attack).[citation needed]
