Biography

Torstein Arnfinnson, son of Arnfinn Torgilsson and Rannveig Sjursdatter, was born at Ullestad, Voss about 1740 since 61 years old in census 1801^[1]

At the time of his marriage 21 Jun 1768 Torstein was a grenadier (originally a specialized soldier chosen to throw heavy grenades into the enemy).^[2], Grenadiers were usually chosen from among the strongest and largest men in the army.

Bought Store Ringheim farm in 1777

Died 1825
