Biography

Jean Pierre Arsenault was born about 1756 in Malpeque, Île-Saint-Jean, Acadie, Nouvelle-France (now Prince Edward Island, Canada), a son of Pierre Arsenault (c.1728–c.1759) and Anne Théodose Girouard (c.1739–1765).

Jean (29) married Marie Rosalie Labry (21) (born on March 26, 1765 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Province of Québec; daughter of Joseph (Labrie) Mignot dit Labrie and Rosalie Marie Lizot) on November 4, 1786 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Province de Québec.[1]

Their children were:

Jean died and was buried on August 2, 1810 in Rimouski, Bas-Canada, aged 53.
