Augustin and Leonise were married in 1903 in Bouctouche. Donat Maillet and Emillienne Arsenault served as witnesses.
From 1912 to 1946, Augustin was the postmaster at the Saint-Thomas-de-Kent post office. That office closed in 1955 and was replaced by RR#3 Bouctouche.
