Thank you!

My direct line is: DeWitt Clinton Howard , Morgan Gene Howard, Phillip Howard , Jr. ( father unk) mother, Rachel Howard d/o Christopher Howard and Rachel Howard ( maiden name).

Phillip Howard, Jr. , Phillip Howard, Sr. Matthew Howard and Anne Hall, Thomas Arundell and Anne Phillipson d/o Miles Nelson Phillipson and Barbara Sandys. Rachel ( maiden name Howard ) may be descended from Cornelius H. and Rachel Ridgeley) Worthington ( who has 3 Howard lines) or possibly , Edmund Howard ( a neighbor of Christopher's and a cousin from Joshua Howard ( not the Joshua who was a brother of Christopher's) or Matthew Howard, Jr. youngest son of The Immigrant whose descendents also moved to NC. It is possible that Phillip's father was not a Howard on his paternal line but, a source who has had his descendents DNA tested said to me via email that they are testing Joshua Howard and Johannah O'Carroll. My dna is 13% Irish, 74% UK. Phillip H., Jr.was married to Mary Child, daughter of Abraham Child( ers/dress) III whose father 's ( II) father, Abr. C. I ,married a Jane Howard who it is said was the daughter of a John Howard killed in Jamestown, VA. He may be descended from children of the 4th Duke of Norfolk. Matthew descends from the 2nd Duke.

She was the sister of Matthew Howard - Arundell.

He dropped Arundell and used the name Howard. They had numerous siblings including , twin sisters Margaret and Clara. My lines descend from numerous cousin marriages from Matthew and Ann Hall and also other Howard Lines. We directly descend from Margaret Howard the daughter of Lord Edmund Howard and Joyce " Jacosta" Culpepper. Upon her death Edmund married two more times. Joyce Culpepper's daughter married Thomas Arundell. Margaret's sister was Queen "Cathyrn "Howard.
