Daniel was born circa 1775-1780 in possibly Virginia, Georgia or South Carolina according to his children's census records.[1] He passed away between 1825-1830 in Scott County, Virginia when his widow, Susan, is shown on the 1830 census records.[1][2][3][4] He is buried in the Barnett-Ashe Cemetery, Duffield, Scott County, Virginia, USA.[1]

He married Susanna Pridemore before 1801.[Citation Needed]
