Biography

Henry was born about 1868, the son of Joseph Ash and Catharine Jimo of Canada. ^{[1] [2] [3]} He may have been orphaned or indentured at an early age because he appears to be the Henry Ash who resided with Jeremiah and Evelyn Powers in New Haven, Vermont as one of their servants. ^[4]

He married Mary Ann "Polly" Prisley ^[5] and they had five children: ^{[6] [7] [8]}
