Research Note

There are two Robert Ash both born in the same year, one in Chatham, so beware when looking for more details. Sogavies Park instead of St.James' is given in Ancestry UK as place of birth, but is clearly seen on the accompanying source document.

Originally two more children were added and the link was not proven so they have been removed. Family notes from the 1980s claim a further 5 children but these may have been mixed with other generations and parents. There is no evidence to support more than the 3 given at this stage!
