Frances Ashby, daughter of Thomas Ashby, was baptised at St Faith under St Paul in London on the 17th of May 1798. [1][2].
On the 9th of December 1820 at St Mary, Lambeth she married Francis Tarrant Fenton, . [3]son of Francis Fenton and his wife, Ellen Crosland. They settled at Gravesend where Francis worked as an attorney. [4]
She died at Lower Peover in Cheshire on the 8th of April 1878[5] leaving an estate valued at less than £300 [6] and was buried on the 13th of April. [7]
