He was a shoemaker by trade.
His daughter Sophia was baptised in St Botolph Without Bishopsgate on 29 January 1826, and at the time the family were living at 8, Clarke's Court, Bishopsgate [2]
When his daughter Sarah was baptised, on 24 July 1831, the family were inmates of Clerkenwell Union Workhouse [3]
No trace has been found of Robert after 1831.
