  • Note CindyDuhamel Oct 2021..There is more research needed. Enoch Roy Ashby death certificate states his parents to be Enoch and Celia. 1900 Censes states his mother to be Celia, so my hunch was right. There are several trees that have linked him as the son of James Ashby family, This Enoch does show in 1880 census in that household. I believe he is half brother-brother, not father (father died in 1877). as Enoch was born after marriage to Celia and after first wife had died. James marraige was 26 Oct 1876 to Alice. Still looking for Celia 1880.
