One way to enjoy the holidays is to go in for horse riding, and for that a good saddle is an essential. Mr. Frank Asher, who has been 14 years in the trade, claims to be able to provide the very article that is required. He has a fine assortment of saddles, and his stock of harness for sulky or buggy use ins not excelled in the city. A splendid sulky turnout can be obtained from 85s, the mountings being of nickel silver. The work is done under Mr. Asher's personal supervision at 179 Hunter-street West, nearly opposite the Newcastle West Fire Station.
