Research Notes
Virgil T. Bogue's book lists Nancy Harris as wife of Joseph Bogue, and only lists Lewis as their son. However, the family record copy I received from my mother and/or mother-in-law says Nancy Asher was born in Tennessee in 1802. "Died May 28, 1860, Howard Co. IN. buried Upper Kokomo Church Cem. 1 Mi NE of Center, Ind., beside her dau-in-law, Eunice Garner Bogue." I know this page was typed by a descendant of Samuel Watson Bogue because it has a note: "Names of our direct ancestors are underlined," and Nancy's 4th son Samuel Watson is underlined, but not her other 7 children. (n.b. after further research I am convinced this was photocopied from the Saunders book cited below, which pulls heavily from the book by Cordelia Bogue Wright)
Also note that the family genealogy notes list Joseph Bogue as the firstborn of Samuel Bogue's 10 children, born in 1798, which conflicts with the Virgil T. Bogue book.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Nancy by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Nancy:
