Biography

John Ashton was born in 1793 at Burscough in Lancashire ^[1] and baptised at Ormskirk on 6 October 1793, the son of James and Ann Ashton. ^[2] He became a timber sawyer and on 25 October 1824 married at Ormskirk Margaret Sharples. ^[3]

John died in 1862 ^[4]
