Biography

Rebecca was born about 1672. Died 1725 in Amwell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, USA. Buried in Stout-Manners Cemetery, Ringoes, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, USA[1]


Rebecca Ashton, daughter of James Ashton, married David Stout, son of Richard I and Penelope Kent Van Princin Stout, 1688.[2] [3]Rebecca Ashton Stout died after 1714 when she participated with her husband in a land transaction.[4] .

They lived in Middletown, NJ until their son, James and Rebecca, their daughter, had married. They gave each of them one hundred acres in Upper Freehold, NJ. In 1725 David Stout moved to Amwell, NJ where he died and was buried on the farm.[5] [6] She passed away about 1725.

They were the parents of:
