Biography
Sibyl Astley is the daughter of Sir Giles of Astley and Alice Wolvey.1 She married Ralph Basset, 1st Baron Basset (of Sapcote), son of Simon Basset and Isabel Boteler, circa 1346.1 From circa 1346, her married name became Basset.[1]
