Biography

Elizabeth was born about 1732 to unknown parents. We are fortunate enough to know her maiden name of Atkins from the Daughters of the American Revolution file for her husband, Nathaniel Davis, whom she married about 1752.

They had the following children (all shown in the Daughters of the American Revolution Ancestor File):

• Margaret
• Charles Burkes
• Nancy

This Elizabeth's parents have not been located, however, some believe that the following are her parents, but sourcing is needed before they are attached again.

• William Adkins (Atkinson)
• Elizabeth Parker

The Chichahominy Tribe in Charles City, Virginia also had a line that took the surname of Adkins so it is possible that there may be records there that can assist in locating this Elizabeth. More research is ongoing.
