By 1901, Laura was widowed and lived in Civil District 7, Monroe, Tennessee, United States in her parent's home with her two (2) daughters.[5]
In 1910, Laura lived in Civil District 7, Monroe, Tennessee, United States withher widowed mother, brother, sister-in-law, and her two (2) daughters.[6]
By 1920, 1930 and 1950, Laura lived in her son-in-law's home in Civil District 3, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[7][8][9]
She died on 19 June 1953, in Monroe, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 85,[10] and was buried in Notchey Creek Cemetery, Madisonville, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[11]
