BIOGRAPHY :
Adeline Eliza Atkins was born on 02/04/1846 in Dekalb County Georgia. She moved with her Family to Polk County Georgia and then on 08/14/1859 she married John Thomas Lafayette Baldwin. They had 14 children. According to accounts of her Granddaughter, Beulah Baldwin, Adeline died of a TB. She died on 02/26/1913 in Polk County Georgia and is buried at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County Georgia.
