Fact: Christening (9 November 1565) Cople, Bedfordshire, England. But NOT a fact that it was this Elizabeth who married Francis Sayre

Research Notes
(David Cooper)
It's odd that she didn't name any of her thirteen children after her alleged parents. Were they really her parents? She is said to have been born in Leighton Buzzard six years before her parents married, when the alleged parents lived in Chesham. Doubts are forming! They have now crystallised.
Having mulled it over I don't believe that Henry and Christian were her parents.
She was born 6 years before Henry and Christian married; they lived in the wrong place; there's no baptism for her; no children were named after her alleged parents. Other than those reservations she's a perfect fit! Seriously, Henry and Christian have nothing going for them to be her parents. She needs to be detached from them, and some research done into Elizabeth Atkyns dau of William and Anne, baptised on 1 May 1572 at Wing, Buckinghamshire, which is only 3 miles from Leighton Buzzard

Atkins-5847 and Atkins-5846 appear to represent the same person because: Not sure why you've got different birth dates, but they're clearly rhe same person. All of this family have existing profiles.
How about Elizabeth Atkyns dau of William and Anne, baptised on 1 May 1572 at Wing, Buckinghamshire, which is only 3 miles from Leighton Buzzard? Much more likely than an illegitimate Elizabeth from Chesham, or a maximum 15 year old who was legitimate but unbaptised.
I doubt that her parents are correct. They didn't marry until 1576, and they were from Chesham, not Leighton Buzzard. None of Elizabeth's thirteen children, was named either Henry or Christian.
