Mary Jane Atkinson was born in March 1829 in Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Thomas Atkinson and Mary (Hageman) Gordon.
Mary married Thomas Oakley on 31 December 1849 in Auglaize, Ohio.[1] Their children were:
