We find the family living in Greene, Georgia in the 1830 Census. There are 3 people listed as living in the home, one male uner 5, one male between 20 - 29 and one female between 15 and19. [5] The male under 5 may be Burgess Williams.
The 1840 Census shows a family of 10 people living in Greene, Georgia. [6] This is one male child short of our family's numbers for that time. The child would be between 0 and 9 years of age. During this time frame, children often die young which would account for the child not being in the 1850 Census with the family.
in 1850, we find the family living in [2] Stewart County, Stewart, Georgia, United States.
She and William are living in District 19, Stewart, Georgia, United States [4] in 1860.
In 1870 the family was living in Stewart County, Georgia. Their residence Post Office was Lumpkin. [7]
She and her husband William Williams are named in the Probate record of her father's Estate which was probated in Greene, Georgia on 12 Jan 1864.[8]
In William's Will which was signed on 21 Mar 1878 and recorded on 7 Dec 1883, [3] he names the following family members: Grandchildren : Rollan Williams, William Williams, Malny Morton (son of Mary Ann Williams), Sarah Hasty (daughter of Sarah Jane Williams), James Williams, Children: John Williams, Hiliyer Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Syntha Williams, Casander Williams, Jesse W Williams, Patience Jones.
William Williams does not name his wife Elizabeth therefor she must have died prior to 21 Mar 1878. [3]
