Nellie was born in 1926. She is the daughter of Burrell Atkinson and Anna Williams. In 1935, the family was living in Fort Myers, Lee County, Florida.[1] She was still living with her parents in 1940[2] and 1945[3] in Fort Meyers. Nellie had a job as a stenographer in 1945.
Nellie married Dwight Emerson Peters in about 1947 in Tampa, Florida.[4]
In the 1950 census Nellie (age 23) was the wife of Dwight E Peters in Hillsborough, Florida, United States.[5]
Dwight died on 4 Aug 1968.[6] His obituary was posted in the Orlando Sentinel on 6 August 1968 in Orlando, Florida, United States.[7]
At the time of her father's death in 1974, she was listed as Nellie Davis on his obituary.
Nellie Grace (Atkinson) Davis passed away in 2020. Burial was in the Bonita Springs Cemetery, Bonita Springs, Lee County, Florida.[8]
