Biography

He was the son of Sir Edward Atkins and Ursula Dacres. He was baptised on the 29th of April 1621 at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England.^[1]He was married twice, firstly to Mary Clarke daughter of Sir George Clarke, they had three sons and one daughter.^[2]He married secondly Anne Dacres daughter of Sir Thomas Dacres on the 21st of April 1681.^[2]He died on the 18th of Feb 1710 after a short illness^[2]at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England.
