Biography
He was probably born in Chester County, South Carolina. His father was Richard Atteberry. He married Sarah (Sally) Moore, daughter of Edmund Walker Moore and Martha Wilson. Their marriage took place on 6 Apr 1809 in Ohio County, Kentucky. Sally was born about 1790 in Virginia, probably Richmond County, and died 15 Sep 1857. One record shows her as buried in Long Grove Cemetery. The children of David and Sally:
