William Blacksmith Atterberry was born in 1660 in London, England, son of William Atterberry (1634–1725).

William married Jane Unknown (born in 1660 in England). Their son was William J. Atterberry (1685–1741).^[1]

William died before August 7, 1749 in Chester, Province of South Carolina, aged about 88.
