Text: Many of their children's middle names came from a confused list sent me by John Vance from an e-mail communication from Gary Bastin, 15 May 1997. Several of the girls used nicknames and are not easy to identify. My earliest data had daughter "Tootie" marrying a -- Rock, and daughter "Fanny" marrying Mr. Fancher. Daughter Sally married Mr Finney.
Bastin has daughters Trudy, Creasy (Mary Lucretia), and Fannie. He states that daughter Margaret Jane married James B Bastin, so Fanny and Tootie/Trudy must have been Phoebe F and Susan Elizabeth.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:

Your DNA confirmation is incomplete. According to the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker (https://apps.wikitree.com/apps/clarke11007/DNAconf.php ) a X-Chromosome DNA Confirmation for exactly 2 people is only valid if both DNA test takers are male.

If one or both of the DNA test takers are female, then a third DNA test taker is required, and triangulation is needed to verify the X-chromosome match.

I have changed the 'confirmed with DNA' entries to 'confident'. Please create an appropriate DNA confirmation statement before changing them back. Thanks!
