here is a link to the 1861 census that lists Cyrus, John, Peter Bishop and Richard Atwell, but the census of that year only gives a numeric total of the family units (8, 10, 10 and 7); then this link gives the 1901 census links and then goes on and on with other Atwell references... at the bottom of the first page see 22 trees of info submitted by folks who use Family Search about Atwells and in-laws in Nova Scotia:

Fairmount Cemetery Fairmount Cemetery is located on the corner of Coveville Road (county route 69) and Casey Road, in the Town of Saratoga. (See the location on the overview map of cemetery locations.) Fairmount was known as the Howland Cemetery, in 1877, when Cornelius Durkee copied the inscriptions, which are recorded in Volume 4, pages 147-159, of Durkee's Epitaphs. Fairmount also contains some stones formerly in nearby small family cemeteries. Many additional inscriptions were recorded in November of 2004. Fairmount is an active, well maintained cemetery, which is associated with the Quaker Springs Methodist Church.

Benjamin Atwell came from England to Connecticut in the 1600s and then John Atwell born c. 1718 moved his family to Horton, Kings County, Nova Scotia go get a free 500 acre land grant before 1770 and two of his great grandsons came to Saratoga County, NY about 1870's. Atwells still live in CT and NS and in the Saratoga County area of New York, and other areas.
