Text: Many of their children's middle names came from a confused list sent me by John Vance from an e-mail communication from Gary Bastin, 15 May 1997. Several of the girls used nicknames and are not easy to identify. My earliest data had daughter "Tootie" marrying a -- Rock, and daughter "Fanny" marrying Mr. Fancher. Daughter Sally married Mr Finney.
Bastin has daughters Trudy, Creasy (Mary Lucretia), and Fannie. He states that daughter Margaret Jane married James B Bastin, so Fanny and Tootie/Trudy must have been Phoebe F and Susan Elizabeth.
