Joseph Austen was born in Tenderden, Kent in 1743 and baptised on the 12th of June. He was the son of Thomas Austen and Mary Buckwell.[1]
Joseph Austen married Mary Smith in Benenden, Kent, England on the 9th of March 1773.[2]
Joseph Austen passed away on the 7th of March 1823 and was laid to rest in the St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard in Rolvenden, Kent.[3]
