Richard ASTEN of Beninden, 16 April 1522. Buried in churchyard. Son Edward all moveables in my governance. Residue after debts paid to sons Henry and John my Ex’ors, with John CREFFORD overseer. Lands, tenements in Beninden, Biddenden, Cranbrook, Rolvinden, Hawkherst. Son John all my lands, tenements upon the Dennes of Casingham and Devynmeherst in Rolvinden, in fee simple for ever. Son Henry all lands, tenements upon Dennes of Maplesden in Beninden in fee simple. Son William all lands, tenements in Beninden bought from Henry ?SESSE, and yearly rent of 13s.4d. out of lands of Thomas TAYLOUR of Cranbrook, and 13s.4d. from lands of William WATTS. Henry and William my sons the Wood land called Haytonne on Denne of Ewerst in Biddenden. Son Edward lands, tenements upon the Denne of Walkeherst.
