Eliza Austin was born on 21st August 1852 in Armidale, New South Wales (Australia). She was the fourth daughter of Henry Austen and Eliza Spratford. [1]
Eliza married William Yeomans on 25th October 1869 in Armidale. [2] The couple made their home a short distance to the south of Armidale, in Uralla, where they had twelve children; five of whom died in infancy or early childhood.
Aged 63 years, Eliza passed away on 16th February 1916 at home in Uralla. [3]
