Biography

Edith was born in 1885. Her father, George was a Water Rent Collector. 1901, living at 760 Coventry Road, Birmingham with Jessie, Frank, George, Elizabeth and Percy. She was a Merchant Stationers Clerk. In 1911, she boarded with Alice and Jessie Langley (sisters) in Kings Norton. Alfred Schlemmer was the other boarder in the four person household. In 1914, she lived at 17 Beech Road, Bournville, Birmingham when she married Alfred. Her father , now deceased, was latterly a Corporation Water Rate Collector. She was living at 351 Maryvale Road, Bournville, Birmingham 30 when she passed away in 1952. ^[1]
