Anna Parks, daughter of Jonathan Parks and Catherine “Caty” Turner was born in Estill County, Kentucky, about 1812. About 1825, the family group, including step-father Jonathan Pace, mother Catherine Turner Park Pace, Anna, and her 5 siblings, left Estill County and moved to Boone County, Missouri. Anna Parks married Minor Ballenger 22 March 1827 in Boone County. Minor died about 1845. The widow, Anna Parks Ballenger, married Isaiah Austin 7 November 1861 in Livingston County, Missouri.
Isaiah Austin’s first wife and mother of his children, was born in Virginia (or Tennessee) about 1796, was Mary “Polly” (last name unknown).
