Biography

Elias was born on 1 Feb 1796 in Bernardsville, Somerset, New Jersey. He was the son of Richard Ayers and Mary (Jeffrey) Ayers.^[1]

He married Mary Jones.

He died on 5 Dec 1864 in Trumansburg, Tompkins, New York. He was buried in Grove Cemetery.^[2]
