Biography
Sherman Wesley Ayers was born on July 14, 1908, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Tecumseh Sherman and Emma Retta (Byfield) Ayers. He married Doris Harriet Ayers about 1936. They were the parents of Margaret Esther (1938–2004). He died on July 15, 1939, in Berkeley, California at the age of 31.
