Peter Ayers was born in 1722 in Woodbridge, Middlesex, Province of New Jersey, son of Thomas Ayers (1693–~1732) and Mary Tappan (~1693–~1732).[1]

Peter (33) married Catherine OBecker (29) (born in 1726 in Woodbridge Township, Middlesex) in 1756. Their children were:

Peter died on November 20, 1801 in Wantage, Sussex, New Jersey, United States, aged 78. He was buried in Old Newton Burial Ground, Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey.[1]
