Jane Yanacha Ayers was born 16 Jan 1754 in Somerset County, New Jersey, the daughter of Moses and Dorcas Cox Ayers. She was called "Jane" by those who were not members of the immediate family. she had one brother, Samuel Ayers (1775-1837).
Yanacha married circa 1771, probably in Sussex County, New Jersey, [to] William Nixon. These are their children:

She signed her inheritance from her father, Moses Ayers, with an X and they, wrote in her name as Yanacha Nixon.
Yanacha died 25 Dec 1831 at the home of her daughter Dorcas and was buried with her husband [in the old Hayden Cemetery (now White Rock Cemetery) in Georges Township.] There is no grave marker for Jane Yanacha Ayers. [1]
