Biography

Given the date of his marriage, John was probably born before 1700.

He married Sarah Gringle in All Saints & St Margaret Pakefield on 6 June 1723.[1]

The couple had at least six children:

he was buried in All Saints & St Margaret Churchyard Pakefield on 17 February 1754.[9] His occupation in the burial entry, was given as baker.

Research Notes

Birth

There are no Ayres/Aires/Ayers register entries in the Pakefield registers prior to the Ayres/Gringle marriage in 1723.[10] Therefore while it is probable that John was born in the year 1695 ± 5, there is no indication as to his place of birth.
