Biography

Daniel Ayres, son of Charles Ayres and Mary Ann Hitt, was born about 1782 in Fauquier County, Virginia. Daniel was married first to Rebecca Dorcas Howard about 1806 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. She died, most likely, giving birth to their daughter. On April 7, 1808 in Bourbon County, Kentucky^[1] he married Matilda Jacobs. Daniel died between 21 Dec 1813 when he wrote his will and January 1814 Court Term when it was proved in court^[2].
