Jeremiah Ayers was born 18 October 1791 in Bernardsville, Somerset, New Jersey, the son of Richard Ayers and Mary Jeffrey.

Jeremiah married first Lucinda Treman and they had eight children.^[1][2][3]

Jeremiah married second Rachael Baker on 11 February 1849 in Auglaize, Ohio. They had two children. ^{[4] [5] [6]}

Jeremiah passed away 2 Jul 1863.
