Biography

The following information comes from the online transcription of the book "Arthur Aylsworth and his Descendants in America" by Homer Aylsworth. [1] Chad was born in 1696, and named for Chad Brown. "He married (1) in Newport, R.I. Nov. 15, 1725, Elizabeth Major and dwelt in North Kingstown certainly until March 30, 1733, sometime after which they moved into old Scituate, and settled within the present limits of the town of Foster, R.I., where she died. He married (2) Mary Wood, who was living when his will was made, April 23, 1757, seventeen years before it was proved, May 22, 1773."

Rachel m. Dec. 2, 1753, Thomas Colegrove.
Anna died of croup in childhood.
