Private Aaron Ayres served with Hampshire County, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Aaron Ayres is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A004062.

Aaron was born in 1744. He is the son of Samuel Ayers and Martha Bell. According to the DAR Patriot Index and Find-a-Grave Memorial 125368026 Aaron was married twice; first to Lois Moody and second to Mary Hitchcock. All children were by Lois Moody.

Aaron served during the American Revolution as a Private at the Lexington Alarm with Captain John Cowles and Colonel Woodbridge.[1]
