There is a great deal of conflicting information – Several Source-to-Source discrepancies; co-mingling, Lack of records; conflicting family stories; number of same names, No Middle Names Verified, etc. There were several Same Named Edwards' within the same timeframe (and various locations in close proximity).

Accounts appear to be fictionalized insofar as "Joshua's Line" This genealogy seems to be inaccurate and appears to have originated with

(a) the famed Edward Heirs Lawsuit;

(b) an erroneous IGI / and

(c) Peerage entries as well as a series of books published thereafter (restating the same ancestors).

(d) Much of the Early Edwards line captured appears to be "Tree Copy to Tree Copy"; "Unsourced And Undocumented. (and generally conflicts with located record / confirmation.)

Parish register for North Petherton, Somerset on ancestry Richard Edwards married Margaret Babb on 22nd April 1559 (image 224) (image 9, transcribed as Richard Warrens) Baptism of a Richard Edwardes on 22nd Nov. 1566 name only; no father recorded a Johan bap 1563, a John 1564, Christopher? (transcribed Crosset) in 1568, Henrye 1569, another Richard in 1571, Symon 1572, Alyce 1575 and Agnis 1576, John 1578 and again in 1581 (they go on!)
